Began in 2010 by Anonymous as a film festival dedicated only to design, A Design Film Festival launched in Singapore and has traveled to Portland, Berlin, Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Bangkok.
The festival is a curated collection of films dedicated to architecture, fashion, photography, street art, motion graphics, technology and the subcultures of design.
Its a different festival that worth anticipating for in June.
I am so excited about this film just like so many others. Costumes designed by Miuccia Prada, Baz Luhrmann and film costume designer Catherine Martin, with over 40 made-to-order evening gowns and cocktails dresses by Prada and Miu Miu. Its obvious that great efforts have been put into this film to make sure that its worthwhile as a Fashion film just like Breakfast at Tiffany.
I adore this film’s wardrobes. It uses shimmering dresses, crystals, feathers, fringing and sequins. Set in the luxury 20s, fabrics used are velvets silks and furs to depicts the glamourous era.
