Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei has created the latest cover for TIME Magazine image below. Using the traditional paper cutting effects, this red and white images seems to be popping out and thus represent how China is influencing the world around it.
Graduated from Beijing Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2006, Yan Hui is China’s emerging jewelry designer.
In 2008, Yan Hui created Hard Candy which does limited edition jewelry, paintings and silver objects. Her sticks to a gothic style with a mixture of dark and sweet characters.
Yan Hui has always wondered about death and how life can disappear from its body so immediately. She was influenced by the Oriental philosophy that life and death are parts of a whole, mutually linked together.
